Tim Burton 4, Mr Edge 10
My personal Tim Burton scorecard goes as follows:
The Nightmare Before Christmas: 9
Planet of the Apes: 5 (an impossible task)
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory: 5: (again, impossible)
Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street: 6
All of which tells me that I: a) usually prefer my Burton animated, and b) usually prefer very human, quieter Burton tales.
Both of which make hope that ‘9′ will, indeed, make it to the elusive Burton ‘9′ mark. If only to make me feel a little better than Coraline has now been delayed in Australia until friggin early August. UPDATE: (Incidentally, the list also suggests I’m not a big fan of a lot of Burton’s remakes, which ‘9′ kind of is).
